I've also launched and relaunched the software, even making a lot of game files to test every time i do it again but I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what I'm supposed to be doing but isn't. I really tried to do everything that you and the other people in forums and yt said but I just can't seem to make it work :( I tried copying the data folder from the sample into my game folder and all it did was turn it into the sample map. The FSM tile pages are all clearly labelled, though, and if need be you can copy the database settings from the included sample project.

Tilesets need additional setup in the database you'll need to assemble a full tileset from the separate pages.

I wanted to do a custom RPG Maker VX Ace (to be precise) ever since I brought it but I had some major problems dealing with it. Imported map sprites should show up immediately for use in appropriate places, e.g. I'd suggest opening the project folder via Game > Open Folder, then manually copying the stuff you want into the correct subfolders. Most commercial games try to make their games as un-RPGMaker-like as possible. The RTP styles of Ace and MV are pretty much instantly judged if seen.
Map sprites go into your project's img/characters folder, tilesets go into img/tilesets. You'll get haters for using the RTP regardless of commercial status, but especially so (and IMO deservedly) for commercial games.
I can open these in rpg maker MV in wich they dont work on any of the A templates nor B C D and E (the textures don't size correctly), what you're saying about using an editor outside of rpg maker is something i've never heard about, sounds very interesting though.
